18 (of 20) double-page hand-colored maps. Also included, but not mentioned in the index, are four maps of Selisia, including one of the capital Breslau, so there are actually 22 maps tipped in this atlas. In original blind stamped limp brown calf skin. Titled in blind "Atlas von 20 Charten.".  Folio sized, the atlas measures 13" x 21.5", and the maps measure approximately 21" x 25".  The maps vary in condition - the first two have stains, a couple are lightly soiled, and the last few have a folded corner (not effecting the image), the rest vary from good to excellent. The title page is heavily stained.  All the maps are presentable, and certainly would frame well should someone decide to break up this lovely atlas. I found one similar, but with only 16 plates, on Abebooks for $3000.
